WELCOME
My name is Matt Breed, I am an aspiring musician and producer from Worcester, England.
As well as playing and making music, I am also a professional music tutor; teaching the guitar, bass, ukulele and basic piano.
MUSICIAN
I have played in numerous bands since I started playing the guitar and have experienced all different styles of playing and genres. My favourite genres to listen to and to play are blues and classic rock. I love the freedom of blues and incorporate this freedom in most of my playing and teaching. I have had the privilege to play in metal bands, rock bands, jazz bands, Church bands and others.
As well as writing and playing my own music, I spend lots of time leading worship at my local church, running band practices, and operating sound.
TEACHER
I started teaching the guitar when I was thirteen years old. At the time it was just small groups at my school who wanted to learn the guitar or play in the school band, but over the years it developed until I was making a living teaching the guitar, bass, and ukulele in Munich as a private tutor and also running band projects in schools. These days I teach only a few lessons a week alongside my job at St Peter's Baptist church but am always happy to pick up more students. Producer
I have been writing and producing my own songs for several years, as well as working with recording artists in different phases of the writing, arrangement and production process. I have a music tech qualification and lots of experience in live and studio production.
